Memory Chess Puzzle

Montessori Wooden Color Memory Chess Game

Test memory recall and strategic thinking in a lively tabletop showdown. All 24 wooden pawns are slotted color-side-down into the circular wooden board to conceal their hidden hues. Players roll the multi-colored wooden die and must rely on their spatial memory to pull out a peg matching the rolled color. If it matches, the player keeps the pawn; if not, it goes back into hiding. It transforms working memory, visual tracking, and turn-taking into an exciting, tactile family game.

• Cognitive Working Memory & Focus: Challenges children and adults to track, recall, and visualize hidden color locations beneath identical wooden tops.

• Color Recognition & Matching: Pairs an interactive six-sided color die with hidden-base pawns in six distinct hues (blue, red, yellow, green, white, black).

• Fine Motor & Pincer Grasp: Pulling and inserting the tapered wooden pegs develops hand-eye coordination, finger strength, and manual dexterity.

• Social & Family Play: Perfect for 2 to 6 players, encouraging good sportsmanship, turn-taking, and healthy competition without screen time.

• Natural Solid Wood Construction: Crafted from smooth, splinter-free solid beechwood with rounded contours and safe, non-toxic water-based paints.
